History of FIFA World Cup

                                                    WORLD CUP 1930 - URUGUAY

In 1930, the first World Soccer World Cup was played, which was hosted by Uruguay, which would also be the first world champion in history, after winning the final in Argentina (4-2) at the Centennial Stadium of Montevideo.

Four years later, in Chile, Brazil would place its second champion star on the shield after beating Czechoslovakia in the final, which would have to settle for a new sub-championship, which is added to the one they achieved in 1934.


                                                WORLD CUP 1966 - ENGLAND

England would become another of the countries capable of becoming world champion playing at home. The Three Lions would defeat Germany in an exciting final (4-2) in an imposing stage like Wembley.

                                                 WORLD CUP 1970 - MEXICO

In the year 1970, in the World Cup played in Mexico, Brazil would again be the champion, adding three world titles in the last four events.                                                      WORLD CUP 1982 - SPAINS

Spain, in 1982, would see how Italy would be proclaimed world champion for the third time in its history. The Nazionale would win 3-1 to Germany in a final that was played in Madrid, at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

                                                 WORLD CUP 1986 - MEXICO

Mexico lived the World Cup of Diego Armando Maradona, and obviously his Argentina, which would be world champion after prevailing in a great final to Germany (3-2). The '10' did not score in the final, but his tournament was simply sensational, especially his match against England, which left one of the best goals in history.

                                                     WORLD CUP 1990 - ITALY

La Nazionale would be the world's four-time champion after beating Les Bleus on penalties.

                                              WORLD CUP 2010 - SOUTH AFRICA
